Obviously, if you don't purchase a completed home, then you need to consider building…or finding a home that has been started but is not yet completed. Regardless, the opportunity to build not only offers you more choices and flexibility, it's normally a more rewarding experience as well.

One of the most important benefits of building is being afforded the opportunity to match the right house to the right lot. How often have you found the right house but wished it were in a different setting…or vise versa?

Those that build also become more intimately involved in their home. For many, the process becomes a passion and as a result, this increases the value derived.

Here is a list of your options on building:

Custom Homes - this offers the Buyer unlimited choices and flexibility. The Buyer is able to design a home tailored to their specific needs. Some choose to make the design process simpler by taking an existing plan and modifying it while others enjoy the process of designing "from the ground up". To make the process even easier and more enjoyable, we work with experienced custom home Builders that offer a "turn-key" service to the Buyer.

Build on Your Lot - this "pseudo" custom home building process employs the advantages of both production and custom home building. Buyers normally have a wide range of floor plans to choose from with the added flexibility to personalize their home by being able to make significant structural modifications. Importantly too, is the fact that the Buyer is no longer limited to a specific community. This affords the opportunity to search a larger geographic area for just the right lot. The price is normally less too, allowing Buyers to obtain "more house for the money".

"Customized" Production Homes - here the Buyer has flexibility within a community by being able to choose their homesite from a larger inventory of available lots. Buyers also can select from a number of floor plans and choose their upgrades and finishes. Many production Builders also allow the Buyer to make some structural changes too, enabling you to "customize" the home to your specific needs.
